It is caused by air entering the vagina. This can happen during sex, douching, or exercising. When you return to a normal sitting position, the air is forced out and causes the "farting" sound. There is no smell because it does not come from the same place. And no it is not thrilling or exciting. Usually, it is just embarrasing.

The fart out of the vagina is trapped air coming thru a different hole. It's doesn't come from the same pocket of air that a normal fart comes from. It's not a "thrilling" feeling, it just feels funny!!

I agree with some of the other answers, it is trapped air pushed in under pressure by the piston action of intercourse. My husband calls it a "squiff". The reason it does not smell is that the air is not being pushed through a tube that excrement is being pushed through (the intestine).
I don't get a thrill out of it.

It's a queef.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queef
"Vaginal flatulence (flatus vaginalis in Latin) is an emission, or expulsion of air from the vagina, often during or after sexual intercourse or (less often) other sexual acts, stretching or exercise. The sound is somewhat comparable to flatulence from the anus, but does not involve waste gases, and thus has no specific odor associated."
The most popular slang term to describe vaginal flatulence seems to be "queef." Some say the word is onomatopoeic and describes the sound the vagina makes when it unexpectedly expels air during sex—"queef!" Others say it’s a combination of "quim" and "whiff." Others insist the word isn’t "queef" at all, but rather "quiff." Or "queeb." Or "queever." Or "quiblet." A correspondent from Southern California says his homeboys call it a "quafe," rhyming with "safe." In eastern Canada it’s called a "keiff," rhyming with "knife."

you cant fart out of your vagina. Air can sometimes get pushed up into the vagina through sex and it has to come back out.

Sometimes a thrusting penis will drive in air, and that air comes out in a vaginal fart. I don't find them exciting. They're sort of boring and necessary.

LOL...LUCKILY, I HAVE NEVER HAD THE "PLEASURE" OF BEING EXPOSED TO SUCH A FLATULENCE, NOR HAVE I HEARD OF SUCH A THING. I SUPPOSE AIR COULD BE TRAPPED THERE DURING SEX, BUT THAT IS NOT REALLY A FART, THAT IS JUST EXPULSION OF TRAPPED AIR
