Depends on how far i have to go. Anything over an 8 or 9 hr drive flying is my preference. Cost is also a factor and how much time i have to take off work to make the drive. Hotels are required after a day of driving. Plus there is the fatigue and danger of driving. More than a 1-day drive i prefer to fly.

Yes, I do! As long as I travel at the right times! I like to leave very early in the morning, so that the airport is dead and whenever I get to my destination, I get there are a decent hour and can still enjoy the rest of the day. I also like to leave late at night, again, when the airport is dead! ITs a great way to travel and I use it as a good time to study or read a good book!

I enjoy the actual Plane ride to my destination and the actual Plane ride back from my destination, but I don't like walking around the airports, going through Security, having all my stuff gone through for no reason, having to take off your shoe's that are all laced up, etc. etc. But, overall - I guess I'd have to say "YES" I do like using the Airport to Travel. It's a lot cheaper now a days being as gasoline is so expensive - most of the time it's cheaper to fly somewhere than to drive.

If I am flying, I find that it is best to use the airport.

Personally, I enjoy it, I find people in front of me or in back of me are going on vacations and we talk and exchange experiences. My son, tried picking up a girls hockey team that was in line in back of him a few months ago. He had great fun.

It is what you make it. Travel light, keep your paperwork handy, bring snacks and just think, every nitty awful thing is something else for you to tell people about later.

The last time I flew out of Orlando, I noticed there was a case of items that you can not bring on the jet. In it was a chain saw. I asked the person who was checking the luggage and that was an actual chainsaw some mental giant wanted to carry on. This kind of story is always good for a laugh.

Just consider it a weird adventure.

Yea, I fly places a lot and find that no matter where you go, airports are generally the same. You know what to expect, you know where to go. Flying is a good experience for me 90% of the time - it sucks if your seated next to an obese person, or you get a really shaky flight or sit next to some weirdo, but generally it's faster, safer and easier.

oh yeah... i love airports and i love airplanes. i've always wanted to work in an airplane or in an airport -- but my family discouraged me and told me to use my degree elsewhere :-(

whenever travelling -- im actually more excited about the flight than the vacation itself.
