i have little black worms in my freshwater tank could this be babies. i have no idea what they are please help

if not baby fish, then probably mosquito larva

It sounds like a mosquito may have laid eggs in your tank and they just hatched!

If they also accumulate in the outside filter, they are probably harmless. Unless you have dead or dying fish, don't worry about it.

it might me a bug because i had the same problem it was a roach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
