how do I get back into my web site to make changes?

If you made the site, then you should either have an HTML file, a frontpage file, or something similar that has the HTML of a site.

Also, while on your page, try right clicking and going to 'View Source'. That should allow you to see the HTML of the site

What type of website is it? Every site has some kind of editor, and you can login and change it.
