Absolutely. If Bush was a Dem the Republicans would hate him more than they hate Clinton.

I WAS a Republican, up until I decided that I just don't want to vote any more, ever again, and I decided THAT because of the case of Bush v. Gore. I never supported Bush's request for an injunction to stop the counting of ballots in Florida and when the Supreme Court granted it I lost all respect for even the conservative wing of the Court. The fact that no other Republicans can see that 1) Bush's request for an injunction was ridiculous nor 2) that the Court's granting of it was a travesty demonstrates to me that, yes, the GOP is blinded by sheer party loyalty.

He's republican in name only, he's been very big into spending and bigger government which is anti-republican. I'd like to hear where he's lied though as none come to mind. We have found over 500 wmd's in iraq. Links between saddam and al queda have been found numerous times, back in the 2004 elections he said he was going to try to deal wiht north korea diplomatically first which is what he's trying right now. I'm sure there are smaller things he said he'd try to get done that probably haven't gone through like fixing social security, but every president hits road blocks I think. Just my opinion

Dont be a Kool-Aid drinker. If all you listen to is the media, they will have you jumping off the bridge or buying one.
Do you realize the impact 9-11 had on our economy?
How about the downward spiral the economy was heading when he first took office? The Dems do not know what the difinition of the word TRUTH is!
Especially that bimbo drunk Kenedy and the likes of him. What a disgrace.

Bush hasn't lied! Lets see1: The 16 words in the State of The Union speech about the yellow cake. 2: Ties between Saddam and Al Queda. Both him and Cheney(plus the 911 Commission) have said they was no link between the two. 3: 750 signing statements on laws . 4:We still need a warrant to wiretap. And the biggest one of them all: When he took the oath of office to UPHOLD AND DEFEND the CONSTITUTION! Not call it a f..king piece of paper and trample all over it!

I like him because I agree with his foreign policy. Not the lies that people on this site spew like so much crap from a baby's a**, but the truth. Other Republicans disagree with him because they think he is not strict enough in his policy making. They say he has become to soft and panders to the moderates, much in the same way the far Left treats Hillary these days.

Bush is labeled a republican but I think he's more extreme. I have to agree with those that say that all politicians are liars because that seems to be the truth to that's right in our face everyday.

No president will be perfect. That said, most people who are Republicans tend to choose that way because of their parents. The same goes for Democrats. I don't like to be on either side too far because no one is absolutely right, no matter how good the media makes them look.

Personally, I like people who are not flip-flopping hippies such as Kerry.
Bush is not my favorite president, but I like him. My favorite would have to be Reagan.
It's not just the republicans that lie actually, most politicians do. And no, the fact that he is a republican is not the reason we like him.

1) He's republican...the son of a republican president, and the former governor of the state of texas (where more people were killed under the death penalty than any other governor of any other state in U.S. history) ---This gets him all of the wealthy conservatives
2)He talks like an idiot and he looks like an idiot ---This gets him all of the stupid rednecks
3)He comes out and talks about his belief in God ---This gets him the misguided Christians
Put those three together and you have the entire republican party
They don't want to accept that he's a liar and he's misled them because they have to much pride in themselves...also, to not support the president would make you a "liberal traitor terrorist lover"
