Oh man. I bet you've heard thousands of times phrases such as "it's not so hard", "Just feel the rhythm", "You just have to move your hips", etc. Such things are usually told by our friends' with good intentions but... you know what they say about them. My advice is that you try out some sort of casual, beginners dance class. Salsa, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Country, whatever. It will help you loosen up and feel more confident. My personal favourites are salsa (it's all the rage everywhere nowadays, so you shouldn't have a problem finding a class) and ballroom (it's NOT for senior citizens or gay guys! You just watch a Latin Ballroom show and you'll get my meaning...) Merengue and bachata are comparatively simple as well (they're street latin dances) and they will help you a lot with your movement as well.

Dance is not something too complicated you just have to move your body following a song's rhythm.It doesn't matter if u have one left leg and one right arm u can dance even if you didn't have no arms and no legs.
