Yep. I think that you should HAVE to ride a motorcycle for two years before you can drive a car. THREE years if you want an SUV.

No, too many people can't even manage to handle 4 wheels...I sure wouldn't put 'em on two. Also, the world would be pretty boring if everyone dug the same thing...there are plenty of bikers out there, and more all the time...
...and people have had a 'roof' over their head when traveling since horse drawn covered wagons and coaches came about...many centuries ago...although more often the roof was for the passengers, and didn't help the driver much...

I want you to imagine Granny, eighty five years young with 20/100 eyesight and deaf as a marble, riding alongside you at 16mph. You would ditch the oversimplification of what should be on the road real quick. No goods or services would be transported, since their would be no trucks or buses either I assume. I don't want to share the road with a bunch of 18 wheelers if I am on a motorcycle. The crunching noise would be distracting.

Until you mentioned it, I had actually never thought about that; however, you must think about families. For example, I have 2 kids, where would they ride? I do also believe that everyone needs to be more aware of the motorcycles that are around them as most ppl do not respect cyclists the way that they should be.

No, Imagine what havoc all the amish would cause!
Stuffing hay and oats in gas tanks!
Sticking their hands in exhaust pipes to do a tune up!
Straping motorcycles to a buggy, and trying to drive it like a horse!
Trying to plow a field with a bike!
Wandering all over trying to see signs that the bike went poo!
Nope. It's too much to handle.

I have to disagree. I understand what you're saying, but I like the fact that I'm somewhat unique. That's not why I do it, and I wouldn't stop riding because everyone else had a bike, but hey, it's a little bit of icing!

Those baby car seats always fit so well to motorcycles.
But motorcycles are wonderful, for people who are old enough and a good driver. Especially those cute little Vespa scooters.

Yes, it would get rid of little old ladies who cant see over steering wheel and ask why they cant keep their licence when legally blind!!!!!!
For the soccer moms etc, you can fit a baby seat in a sidecar, and get some awareness of the world outside your metal tomb
