First set your internet explorer to block all popups. Do this by going to "Tools" > "Internet Options" > "Privacy" tab > Make sure the popup blocker box is checked then click "Settings" at the bottom > then set popup blocker to "High." On this setting you must use the CTRL button to bypass the blocker when you want to open a popup.

The best thing to do is use a browser that has a good built in popup blocker. Mozilla Firefox is great. In Firefox you can go to "Tools" > "Options" > "Content" tab. There you can tell t to block all popups and set exceptions.

If all else fails you can buy popup blocker software, but a good browser has it integrated, so there really is no need for it.

Just download the Yahoo toolbar and enable the pop up blocker. Easy. It also has a great anti-spy scanner.
