if you are seriously desperate.
-Click start
-Go to your control panel
-Click Performance and Maintenance
-under pick a task click "Free Space On Your Hard Disk.
-It will take a few moments (Disk Clean-up bar will load)
-Once the window containing the ammount of disk space you ca remove shows up then scroll to Temporary Internet File. Click it
-Now hit Veiw Files.
-And a file folder should pop up.
In there you can scroll through viewed images, flash files, music files.etc. Remember this only shows content viewed from the Internet.
If it does not show any content then the Temporary Internet File option is turned off

Assuming you can get to the computer in question, inside their browser is a history function. Press Ctrl-H and it will show a history of all webpages visited under that Windows profile.

Look deeper into cookies. Go to the C Drive and type in "Cookies" as your search. It will bring up any cookies (stored info) unless the person has specifically gone in and deleted those. Simply clearing their history won't remove them, so you should have a good idea of what they have been up to.

Go to disc clean up and clean drive C! When it's clean 'veiw files' in the 'Temporary Internet Files' there will be everywhere they've been in 1 of the folders! Unless they've already done a disc clean up!

You cannot tell if someone "looked" at a computer. You can determine if someone logged on and with special software you can record everything they did.
