don't let your ex boyfriend continue to ruin your life, it's time to move on and stop using him as an excuse. That sounds harsh but I have been there, done that, my ex nearly strangled me to death on top of numerous other occurrences. I do not let him continue to have that sort of hold over me, he is gone and forgotten about on a day to day basis, why let him ruin your new relationship? I am not saying you should marry your new b/f, you should only do that if you feel it is right and don't let anyone pressure you. But stop letting your ex influence you, and stop comparing your new b/f to your ex, get on with your new life and be happy.

Make sure you've taken time to learn the possible pit falls with the b/f before getting committed again. Get to know him for the right reasons, including being in love with him. The ex will try to cause problems, but they can be ignored if you're with the right man, and you're truly happy.

You can put it to him this way..."I'm not saying no, I'm just saying not right now"...you were just thru a bad break up and really still need to heal. If he's the right one and he truly loves you, he will give you the time it takes until you're ready. Don't rush into a committment when you aren't ready to do so.

Make sure he is the one don't think you have to have someone around you everyday for self confidence...Couples stay engaged for 3 or 4 years so you still have time to think before all the planning starts...
Was your Ex the one before you married him? Think it through..
Good luck slow down you still have time!!!

What's the rush? If he really loves you, he will wait until you are ready. NEVER jump into a marriage if you are not sure about it. I speak from experience.

What's the worst that can happen? LMAO
If you have to ask it means you are not ready.
Tell him it's you not him. Be honest. Dump him and go torture some other guy with your past you can't seem to break away from.

I think that you should wait. If he love you and respect you then he would respect the fact that you are ready to jumo into another marriage.
