It's soo stupid because all it is, is a bag to put stuff in. What are the guys suppose to put their belongings to if the stuff can't fit in a wallet, and a back pack is too big. This stuff to me is just............weird. And why can't guys wear skirts or dresses. People back in the days had to. I really wanna know.

Frankly I don't understand this cultural thing either. I don't consider it gay. I often carry around a bag (as do a few of my other guy friends) when we are going places where we need lots of stuff. Guys don't need lots of stuff but not everything that guys need to carry around will fit in pockets. Especially if the guy is wearing pretty fitted pants. I was just in Paris and almost all the guys there carried shoulder bags there. I also read an article there about how it was the thing for guys to carry bags. Hopefully this fashion trend will become popular in the US too. But to answer your question I don't know why people consider it gay. As long as the guy is carrying around a bag that is meant for guys and not for girls I don't see why it should be considered gay. If it was a pink leather bag I could maybe understand. But I really don't. Go man bags!

It's just our culture..the way things are. Anything different is seen as weird. Some men have been known to wear 'fanny packs', but that's just something worn around the waist. I don't know if women would want to see guys in skirts, but I know most guys not only wouldnt' want to wear them, but wouldn't really want to see other guys in skirts.

Why do yo think? first of all it's the design which is famine
and 2nd men don't need to carry anything. Women always carry their house in their purses. Men only carry keys mobile money and maybe cigarettes. In their pockets.

It's not 'gay' but it is feminine. Guys typically don't have as many things to carry (makeup, tampons, etc) as girls do. Some guys use murses though (man purse!).

I really like long skirts. My bf enjoys the brief ones. So my closet is packed w/ 1/2 and 1/2.
