We are considering a trip to Lake of the Ozarks, any suggestions on a NICE place to stay, we are looking for something a little more high end, quiet but near restuarants and attractions. There would be 2 families, maybe a condo or lodge. We've never been there so any advice would be wonderful. Thanks!

My family went to Tan-tar-a when I was younger...I loved it. I read that they recently remodeled. There are individual cottages and a hotel. We stayed in the cottages and they were nice. They're a little walk to the lake...but it's so pretty that you won't notice. There's all kinds of things to do...pools, horseback riding, sail boat rentals, jet ski rentals, mini-golf, golf, and since I was there, they've built an indoor water park.
