Well I went to school in Texas twice. The women are sweet and nice, and Texas has many big, wide open clean spaces. Texas is the only state in our Union, that used to be a country all it's own. Texas has the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Chili Cook off's, and some darn good imported tequila.

the fact that every kid has to say the "Texas Pledge" every morning at school along with the pledge of allegiance.... i don't even think washington state HAS a pledge (where i'm from).

seriously though... food is incredible, it's darn beautiful, the women are amazing, proximity to mexico (yes, that's a positive!), the coast, the west, the mountains, the hill country, sentences like "Are you going to the store?" can be shortened to
"fixinta gota store?" (that's funny) and still be considered proper, and.... the MUSIC!!! Texas has a little bit of everything - some good and some bad...

everything even the heat. I live in San Antonio. I love Fiesta, the Spurs, the River Walk, Sea World, the West side, the South Side. Loop 410 at rush hour. The horned toads in Kenedy, Austin. Mexico's an hour away, the Gulf is an hour away.

Texas, Yeeee Hawwww. And we gotta lotta pretty women here.

Interesting thing about Texas.
If one took the map of US and flipped Texas from North to South, Amarillo, in the Panhandle, would be near Mexico City. If one flipped it from South to North, Matamoros would be in Canada.
If one flipped it East to West, Port Arthur would be in the Pacific Ocean. If one flipped it West to East, El Paso would be in the Atlantic Ocean..
