I have a huge box of X-Men and other DC comics and they're all in mint condition. I certainly don't want them so where can I sell them?

In general, people are right about selling your comics to a comic shop would probably be the easiest thing. The easiest way to find your closest comic book shop is to use http://csls.diamondcomics.com/
which has the location of pretty much every major comic book store. However, depending on the age of the comics, do not expect to get too much for them. Unless they are really old, dating back to the 1960's and 1970's run, most comics are not especially valuable. The exception is 1st appearances and rare issues, which are also nice. You may want to buy an issue of Wizard or another pricing guide magazine to see if you have anything especially valuable, because you don't want to get ripped off. This will give you a ballpark of what to expect. However, if it is not a special issue and is from the 1980's or 1990's, don't expect to get more than 25 cents an issue, in all honesty. If you have complete runs of certain series, you might be able to charge a little more. Also, if you are going to sell them on line, through craigslist or some other method, you should give some general issue numbers and let people know which ones you have, that way you are more likely to attract people who are interested. I for one in primarly only interested in old New Mutants and X-force, rather than X-men in general. People usually have specific series they are looking for. Hope this helps and good luck!

The best place you coud sell em would be your local comic book store. Find it online or in the yellow pages and ask em if they're interested in buying some of your comics. If you don't know which ones are worth the most, you can bring a long a few sample issues to show what kinda stuff you have, or tell them which series and dates you have. This is the fastest and easiest way I know of.

Try and do some research into it, go to you library and see if they have any books on specialised comics.
Or even maybe try the phonebook and try find some specialists from around the country.

If you are going for a quick sale then you could get rid of them quite easily.
But if you are willing to put in a bit of time and effort to maximise their true worth you may need to find more than one or two places who may be interested in buying them and letting them offer you money for them.
That way you can at least know that you are getting a decent amount for them.

One time i was selling some football programmes and the nearest place to me offered me some money which was quite reasonable but i then found out that they were worth a lot more.
So it is always best to shop around different places to see who would buy it for the most reasonable offer.

Take them to your local comic book store. They'll be able to tell you if any of them are worth selling, otherwise ebay or local classifieds are your best bet.

Your local comic book store should be MORE than happy to help you with those!

If you don't have a local comic book store, try a local book store.
