What do Americans want to know about Egyptian culture ?

I asked this question before and I am asking it again . All the answers I am getting are useful and I need more and different ones . The thing is that I am supposed to teach a course in college about Egyptian culture "Something which I have never done before"

I would want to know things like, what is considered rude? What are the roles of men and women? What are common business etiquette practices? i.e. in some cultures it is the practice to exchange gifts. As a woman I would want to know what kind of clothing is considered appropriate/inappropriate or offensive.
What are the major differences between U.S. culture and Egyptian culture. Hope that helps! Good luck.

I don't have any Egyptian cartouches, but I did buy several wonderful silver and gold cartouches in Turkey when I was stationed at Incirlik. They are beautiful. I bought several as gifts for family, both male and female, and I see that people are still wearing them. I got a really beautiful three sided cartouche in 24k gold (English, Arabic and Egyptian hieroglyphs) for my daughter Samantha. I paid $145 for it, including the really nice gold chain, and it was appraised for $1700 without the chain and the chain was appraised at $130. Are they the inexpensive in Egypt?

I would say how to walk like an egyptian but that's immature. I personally am curious about their religious beliefs, their gods and the whole story of their creation. what role the pyramids played and how their social/political/religious structure worked.
