as I said in my last question...I am looking for something good to rent on netflix. So what is your favorite movie or what do you suggest I rent? I've looked through thier new releases but sometimes for some reason they don't list the good ones.

Try "Dead Again" (1991) with Emma Thompson & Kenneth Branagh. It's fun & it blows your mind. It's a bit of a mystery, a bit of a thriller, a bit romantic (but not sappy). Altogether, it's fun. Also, Andy Garcia is in it (one of his first movies) and Derek Jacoby (one of his later movies).

My favorite's The Nightmare Before Christmas, but you probably wouldn't want to watch that in July. Some of my other favorites are Caddyshack, Newsies, Office Space, Moulin Rouge, There's Something About Mary...none of those are new releases, but they're all great. I'm doing the same thing you are, except instead of Netflix I'm using the Blockbuster version. It's the same price, but with my plan I get 1 free movie rental a week from one of the stores as well. My list of movies to get is huge. I'm not going to be able to watch them all before I go back to school.

Try "Pillow Talk" (1959) for an oldie--cute, well-photographed and unarguably very funny. For something more recent, I recommend "Six Days, Seven Nights" (1998), for Harrison Ford's performance and the clear and interesting story line.
