My girlfriend who is a doctor was deceived and ultimately dumped by this guy a year and a half ago. She was devastated and grieved for months because she loved him so much. Now they are both remarried and he wants to take his son to see her for healthcare..his reason being that "she's the best". Arrogant? Insensitive? Nervy? You decide!

I would characterize it as both insensitive and arrogant and refused to care for him and his family. Actually i do not even think that t is ethical. She should refer him to another doctor.

your friend is a doctor so she should see his son. what she shouldn't do is open any doors when she sees him,don't let him back into her life.she should forgive him for what he did so she can grow and even if she feels she wants him back, how can she trust him anymor. we all make mistakes but we would be less hurt in life if we don't repeat history. you may think well maybe it will work out again or maybe not.is it really worth going through that all again when she's still trying to get over him. we all have choices and some people don't really sit down & plan their life. things happen in our life because of the choices we make. good luck anyway.

Maybe it's because personal and professional relationships aren't the same thing. It's possible that he doesn't see her as marriage material, but does see her as a fine doctor.

that sorry goof shouldn't even think about takin his kid to see her.... since she's a girl she's probably nice enough to go ahead and see the brat, but she shouldn't, and I can't believe the jerk has the nerve to do it.... well yeah i can because if he's that much of a jackass then he'd do it, and he probably thinks she should see the kid for free.... she should charge him double then he would never come back.... that'd take care of it 4 sure.
