I’ve been shocked and horrified to discover an alarming trend with the fortune cookies. It seems the fortunes have been replaced with Eastern religious philosophy and the lotto numbers have been replaced with exhortations to learn Chinese! Is this is a sign that the Communist Chinese are trying to infiltrate America with their unholy doctrine?

Is their wicked plan is to get to our hearts through our stomachs?

Sometimes, you crack open a fortune cookie, and are greeted not only by a string of lucky numbers, but a funny or weird fortune that makes you wonder. These fortunes were found in actual fortune cookies in the Greater Toronto Area, home to many fine Chinese food establishments.

Is the Chinese Communist Party or the Borg is trying to tell me something?

No... China is becoming a major power in the world. They aren't trying to take over with cookies. You know, the don't even have fortune cookies in China. That's an American twist on Chinese food.

I think its just an evil plan to hear Americans mis-pronounce "duck sauce" in chinese. China= not proper communist state. Another example of broken promises leading to a dictatorship.
