No. but how much does your husband earn? are you working? and if not have you claimed all the benefits you are entitled too.
May be you both need to sit down and write down how much is coming in and what is going out and with what is left. when you know how much is left then one can honestly say if the £50 is enough. I wish you all the best

Well maybe if I had a conversion chart handy I could tell you. But in my world. I don't get an allowance. I have enough money of my own to keep me happy. If I need say, $2500.00 for something and my funds aren't readily available, which they usually are, I just tell him, "Hey, I need $2500.00 and he gives it to me.
I don't understand what you mean by "plain". You are his wife, his partner, his friend and his lover. If you wrote down payment for everything that you do in a day such as, wash dishes, do laundry, clean, and basically run the household and compare it to the cost of labor for these tasks I think you would see that 50 pounds a week is not enough. He should provide the food and the kid's stuff and you should be able to spend the 50 pounds on whatever it is you want or need. Otherwise, you need a raise. Or to go out and get a job so you will have your own money (that you control), meet people, and enjoy your life to full capacity.

No, i am a single mum with 3 kids, get no maintainence, i could spend 50 in one day with my lot, just with petrol and food, so no £50 a week is not enough ( i work as well and not on any benefits)

why don't you try reversing the role and see what your husband can get for £50 a week but do it in a jokingly way so that it doesn't seem like you are coming across as a money grabbing spending wife. personally no i don't think that's enough i have 4 children and i do around £120 a week on food and crisps etc not counting clothes, shoes etc, then medicines, calpol etc, anyone who has children knows only too well that its an expense. i admire you for coping and you truly are worth more

i am a working single parent, off two kids and yes £50 is enough it pays for their hobbies ie swimming lessons, dance classes youth club and anything else the kids want to do . don't get me wrong some weeks when i have over spent i could do with some extra cash, but who couldn't. if when ur struggling just ask the kids dad hows about a loan if u don't ask u don't get. Dont get me wrong if he is on realy good wages and you think he is being a scrooge go to the CSA .

Depends how much he's holding back for himself. But if you're asking the question, you must have some doubts about his motivation. Sounds like he's the one with a problem, not you. A control problem. I don't think your looks have anything to do with this at all.

no this is not enough, from your question i couldn't make out if u married or not, but if u are, then your hubby should just put you on his bank account, so you have access to money at all times. if you are divorced/separated then please be grateful (sorry) cause i don't get anything from my ex hubby cause he keeps telling csa he is on dole. but still had enough money to buy our 2 boys latest nintendo and bikes each for xmas. hope this answers your querie, sorry to be so blunt. lots of luck. xx

Get a solicitor or Child Support Agency to decide how much. That way he will not be able to try & wriggle out of it.
