Maybe the people who work the theater I was in just turned the sound up REALLY LOUD but did anyone else think the movie was deafening? I wanted to cover up my ears on a lot of parts in that movie and I think I went a little deaf because of it.

I didn't sit in the front, I sat near the very middle of the theater.

first of all.... don't listen to the other people who think it is where u sit. the sound does not come from the screen. it comes from the speakers. the speakers are usually placed all along the sides of the walls in the theater room, not in the front. there are speakers in the back too. way in the back. My uncle-in-law works at a theater. he told me. it was probably just that the speakers were turned up too loud.

I know it was loud it was supose to be loud I was at one or the places it was shot because I live in the caribbean. The whole movie was loud plus sound effects of course. You could have lower the sound alittle by sitting in the middle or the back of the theater

all theaters are a bit different when it comes to that. i had to take my little brothers out of a movie once because of that and now they won't go back to that theater because they are afraid of the loud movies. it's all about finding the theater that's right for you.

Too loud? Not really
Too long? Most definitely. Some much unnecessary filler. I could not wait for it to end. But, it did have some good special effects (esp the undead pirate crew) and Kiera Knightly is hot as hell.

yes, but we were sitting practically in the front row. Still, in a theatre you expect movies to be loud.

That would be the choice of the theatre.

I had the same deafening experience with MI:III.
