Do you have children who are still at school? If so you could get more actively involved in school activities. Alternatively you could take up a new hobby such as an evening class, learning a language, dancing etc. Join a club such as your local book club or theatre and you are bound to meet loads of new people.

You could take out an ad in the local press or look out for singles nights at local pubs/clubs e.t.c.

I've been wondering the same thing here in the US, but for married people who aren't satisfied also.

just go where you feel comfortable - any place can have dishonest poeple - pubs, clubs, golf courses, church - you name it, people are all different, it just a matter of getting yourself out there and mixing.
