As you can probably tell, I love coastal beaches and hate traffic on I-95.

This would be a lot more logical than that proposed Mexico-to-Canada superhighway, I-69 (The Oral Express, as I call it).

Why ruin the coast with an interstate? If you want to travel fast, take I95. If you want to sightsee, take the blue highways. Half the fun of that kind of travel is seeing the towns you go through, rather than around.

Heck yes!

One thing I noticed, is that there is no good way to drive from Michigan to Myrtle Beach! And I love that place! It took someone I know 18 hours to drive there! Good heavens! Taking all kinds of different routes along the way. An interstate down the coastline there would be perfect.

In Florida, the position I stay, extreme p.c. rail will be extremely extreme priced. Obama suggested very last evening that we are able to start up construction a link from Tampa to, likely, Orlando. purely to purchase the right-of-procedures between those 2 cities will value a procedures more advantageous than the money that the authorities has suggested will be alocated. Then we may be able to ought to construct the tracks and purchase the trains. In Europe and Japan, cities are commuter pleasant. they have greatr mass transit structures. yet the following, we do not have good mass transit because we use our autos. How does it help me to zip from Tampa to Orlando and then ought to employ a motor vehicle to get from Disney to the different points of interest? Do you imagine Disney has trams to take you from their park to customary to SeaWorld? they don't! that's going to value you extra to get from Disney to Gatorland than to get from Tampa to Orlando. The Interstate highway equipment replaced into all started in the Fifties. gasoline replaced into 20 cents a gallon, if that. we've some corridors, jointly with Washington toNew York, the position extreme p.c. rail will artwork, yet it really is a short holiday and both cities have good mass transit once you arrive. Tampa and Orlando do not.
