Before you read on, please note that I am not racist in any way.
I am a 25 yr. old white girl with blonde hair and brown eyes. I have always dreamed of having the perfect baby. Light skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. Maybe my idea of the "perfect baby" spawns from movies and tv shows....Whenever I meet guys, I am usually attracted to the ones who I think will make cute babies. I am sure other women do this too. My biological clock is going off!!
My problem is that my best friend who is mexican has always wanted to date me. We have been good friends for almost 10 years now. I have never found him attractive sexually but I am attracted to him 100% as a life partner-type. I can see him being the best husband and father in the world. I don't want to keep dating losers who only want sex. I want to marry my best friend, but how should I go about the "dating" process with him? It will be awkward. Also....what do mexican/white babies look like? Do they typically have light skin? HELP!!!

One thing...He has wanted to date me ever since we first met. He loves me more than anyone else has ever loved me. We have talked about everything that I have mentioned on here. Has anyone else ever been in the situation of dating a best friend? I know that most people, like myself usually have sex with someone pretty fast and THEN try to form a relationship with them. I think that marrying your true best friend is kind of romantic and old fashioned.

I am a white girl but when I was born I loooked completely MExican like my Mom had an affair or something. But It depends what his genes are and how light is his skin how dark is his or your? It is all based on genes. Your Baby will be cute no matter how dark or light it is. Get married to the guy he like you and you can see him and a life-partner. My Grandparents have been married for 50 years and my Grandma had 10 kids and they all were born dark and came out light. Just try it.

Well, I don't recommend marrying someone who you aren't physically attracted too. Maybe if you date him you will find that you are attracted to him. I hope so.
Mexican / caucasian babies are VERY cute, but not in a blond hair, blue eyes sort of way. Alot of them have glossy black hair, big brown eyes, and skin that looks like it has a nice tan. If you know that you want to be a mother, any baby that you have will be the perfect baby for you.

Are you on the Birth Control??? Sounds weird, but a psychology mag. said that women are attracted to men like their dad's and brothers when pregnant (which is what the Birth Control does to your body ... tricks it into thinking you're pregno) ... anyways, it sounds like you've fallen for the safety factor (your friend) ... however, long term studies show that once you're body stops being pregnant (or on B.C.) then the smell of these types of men repulse women ... causing anger and animosity towards them and their babies. This is why these psychologists attribute so much divorce ... it's because we're on the B.C. and don't smell men property.
"Wrong Guy" ... well, usually smell don't lead you to the wrong guy, but fairy tails we've learned do. Remember, part of a good relationship/marriage/kids includes that time when you learn how to argue without destroying each other, but arguing to achieve goals for the two of you!!!

First of all, because it is your baby, it would be perfect. I think that you are getting a little ahead of yourself in regard to the whole baby thing. If you are not attracted to your friend, you are not attracted to him and this won't change because you get married. Marriage has enough complications on it's own, you don't need to add to it starting out the way your are feeling (it sounds like you are doing the safe thing and settling) If it were meant to be, it would happen, otherwise it wouldn't be this hard. Think things through, you wouldn't want to ruin your friendship.

Don't worry about what your babies will look like. The baby will not be perfect, as that's impossible, but at the same time it will be perfect because he/she will be your's. Relax, and give the guy a chance.
(But honestly, if he were to read this or know you felt this way, you most likely wouldn't have a chance.)

I am half mexican/ white. I have no problem with someone dating another race. Look at my picture and you can see what a person looks like.
PS I don't know my birthparents. I was adopted. Mom was white dad was mexican.
