I made a bunch of flyers and put them on cars or mailboxes in nice neighborhoods where I would like to work.
You could try a small web site, some are free.

there is a website that has a list of websites you can advertise online for free. craigslist is on there but there are sites on that list that have more traffic than craigslist and have free advertising.
