A good hockey name is The Rocket. Just call him that. Or maybe Howie as that's a classic hockey name from Morenz to Meeker.

If you prefer a modern name, I'd say choose a cool sounding Euro name like Jaromir or Teppo.

I named my kids by ones I liked, but also that weren't too common, but not weird, and their middle name is one that comes from the family. Make sure you say out loud the first and last name and it flows well together, doesn't rhyme, or make something funny or embarrassing.

I personally like the name Alex... if I get a girl, it will be Lexxi or Alexis. Alexander James, or Alexis Jamie. I'm hokey like that. I just like the way the two names come together.
