I use Firefox, but I still keep getting popups from IE. Is there anyway to disable or delete IE? I bought a spyware and popup disc and scanned my computer but I still keep getting pop ups from IE. any help would be appreciated!

u can disble it
go to Start>control panel>add/remove programs
and select Add/Remove Windows Components then Uncheck Internet Explorer
remove it from add/remove program too if it's there

Uninstall the Internet Explorer.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Add remove programs
then click "Add/remove windows components" on the left hand side, uncheck the box for "Internet Explorer". I believe you will need the Windows CD to reinstall it. It looks like you got a bad case of spyware, I would also recommend you go to download.com and get adaware and spybot, they are free anti-spyware programs

No I don't think that you will be able to get rid of the pop ups without uninstalling IE. I have the same problem where i get pop ups from IE while using my fire fox, and some of my friends have had the same problem. The only way for sure to get rid of them is to uninstall IE.

no DONT delete explorer,just when u go to general settings u see little box where it ask u should it be default browser,it should be checked on firefox,and unchecked on explorer (its last tab in tools/options)
