Italians in general don't like living abroad unless they have to. They rarely like other countries' food, they tend to criticise what is foreign to them. Usually they don't have a good knowledge of any another language apart from Italian, and sometimes are too full of themselves.
In addition they still think that their Football Championship is the best in Europe, if not the world (il Campionato più bello del mondo)....

Because the Italian league used to be the best league to play in not so long ago, it stood head and shoulders above the rest.
Now the Spanish league is considered to be maybe the best, but not to Italians.
To tell you the truth there isn't much in it anymore across the big footballing nations in Europe, but if you ask the Italians they will still say that the Italian league is the best league to play in.

I don't know exactly BUT it was largely speculated if this Italian scandal comes back with a guilty verdict many players off the accused clubs Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina will be looking for new clubs (teams)....
They said the guilty verdict will effect all of Europe for many top ranked players playing in Italy will suddenly become available.
So perhaps some of those Italians will now play in Spain, Germany and England after all...

The same reason most English players play in England. It's a strong league with money so the players have no reason to go elsewhere. The same with Spain but to a lesser extent than England or Italy. Although most Italian clubs are heavily in debt I believe. Lazio is one example that springs to mind.

It used to be the best league.
But I think Italians like Italy and would move only for money. I guess they are paid enough where they are..so what's the point of leaving for another country?

Easy. Make more money, play with the best, get the most beautiful women, have best standard of living, be a star etc. etc. Only London (not England just London given its international atmosphere) and Madrid or Barca (great cities) can be tempting. Paris could be nice but football in France medium level and pay is crap.
