Its a symptom of muscle cancer, you need to go to the hospital and get it checked out right away!

Odd indeed. You may want to not drink so much or not drink the same thing in the future.

I'm tempted to say there was something going on with your nerves, possibly up with the spine since if it had been a stroke it probably would have effected one side of your body or the other, not the same part on both sides.

If it happens again, get a doctor to look at it. Good luck!

Try to cut down on your drinking and go asap to a physician. He can tell you what to do about it. It could just have been a neuronal jump (it sounds worse than it is), it just means that because of the alcohol your brain forgot about your hands for a bit making them go inwards

Do you drink alot?
The recommended weekly units for a man is 16.
To work out units of alcoho you multipy volume by alcohol percentage and divide by 1000.

eg. 750mls wine that is 10% = 7500 ._ 1000 = 7.5 units

800mls (2 cans) lager that is 5% = 4000 .-1000 = 4units

Your symptoms may indicate a thiamine deficiency which is common in people who drink excessively.

See a doctor if it happens again.

If you drink more than the reccomended amount, reduce your intake, get help if you need it.

how can you be sure that it was alcohol that made this happen?
could it not be a coincidence?
you should go to your GP and ask if it could be linked with drinking or if there is something else that needs to be addressed.
good luck. i hope you get an answer but i think it can only come from a doctor x
