Sun screen!! The sun down here is more powerful than what you are used to up north. Bring hot weather clothing, but a sweater might be useful, as restaurants, stores and movie theaters keep the AC really cold.
I live in Key West, and I have been in the hospitality industry since the 80s. I know Florida better than most. If I can be of any assistance at all, e mail me!

I know it's already been said a bunch of times, but SUNGLASSES! it cannot be stressed enough...and not a cheapy pair of Wal-mart glasses that do nothing...you need a good pair.
I would not survive living in FL without my ray bans.
Make sure you put on your sunblock in the morning, no matter what, and reapply after you've been in the sun for more than an hour, then reapply again and again and again. You will be hating life if you get a burn while on vacation. I wear a SPF 15 moisturizer everyday and I still have a nice tan on my face.
Have fun!!!

plenty of sunscreen, a empty suitcase as you always rake back more than you bought. depending on what your vacation consists of, such as just hanging out on the beach at a rental or driving around the state. bring outfits that don't make you look like a tourist, it keeps the chances of theives and pick pockets out of your range at popular vacation spots. carry some cash with you, but use travlers checks like american express as if you lose them or are stolen, you get them replaced on the spot. keep your id and credit cards in a small card holder in your pocket instead of a purse or carrying bag. less chance of getting it ripped off. most often, people will buy beach towels and things here so you don'y have to bring them. depending on how long and where you are going or if your using a rental car, expect to have enough to average 200 to 500 a day to spend. any medications you take or if you have a doctor in your home town, make sure you have everything before you leave. make photo copies of every card and id's you can keep in a safe place. if anything comes up missing, lost or stolen, you can show what you had. that you keep in a hotel safe. list of emergency numbers in your wallet or in your bag so if you get hurt, they will know who to contact.

customary highs in Orlando in January are interior the severe 60s, low 70s. The is the severe. It takes all day to get there, around 3-4PM. Lows are low 50s, severe 40s. that must be 4-5 AM. besides the undeniable fact that, it must be greater, or decrease. you're able to desire to constantly have a jacket/hoodie with you. in spite of you're mushy donning at living house would be advantageous for Orlando. you would be interior the parks all day, and into the evening. Layers which you would be able to placed on and take off would be ultimate. i replaced into there in January countless years lower back - the days have been friendly, however the nights have been chilly - and while you're via water, that is chillier.

A lawyer:
What they say in Florida:
Come on vacation
Leave on probation
return in violation (of probation)
The state of florida is running a racket with their legal system.
If you go once, they will try to pin any false legal charge on you.
Then, you are stuck going back again and again and again and again.............
They call it "Legal Tourism"
Don't go.
