I always tell people not to feel guilty about the feelings they still have for the guilty party. We are all human and guilty of harboring feelings for those who don't necesarrily deserve it. The most important thing is to always be honest with yourself and stay true to your "feelings"; however, at the same time you have to also make the right decision in the process. I gaurantee this will keep you from going insane. If you have a moment of weakness and call or have sex with them again just tell yourself that it was what your physical self needed but mentally you know you deserve better. Chalk it up to a booty call and keep moving on. Don't start letting your mind wonder into romantic thoughts of you and this person. We all tend to start lying to ourselves and brainwashing ourselves to the point where we believe this person is going to change. NOT!

Another thing that will help you keep your sanity is to start dating again. This will help get your mind off the other person. I am not saying jump into another relationhsip. I would not put myself in the postition of grabbing a rebound person, but, there is nothing wrong with making new friends. In no time at all (when I say no time I mean 6 mo's to a year) you will be completely over this person and maybe even ready to delve into a serious relationship again.

Everyone always says time will heal but they never take the time to explain just "how" the healing process takes place. While all this "time" is going by. This is exactly what you do. You put you first, never deprive yourself, make new friends, date, don't get into any so called serious relationships for at least 6 months and don't lie to yourself or feel guilty about anything that happens in between. I hope this helps. Good luck.

You're not sure if this guy was your boyfriend or husband? Do you remember a wedding?

Regardless, if he broke up with you, he's made it clear he doesn't choose to share his life with you any longer...if you don't move on, you'll waste the rest of your life pining over something you cannot have, when other opportunities will be passing you by...

This life is too short to choose to be miserable...take a deep breath, give yourself some time for your heart to not hurt quite so bad, and get on with Life...

HEY if both your boyfriend and husband broke up with you, then yeah, move on.
Your husband probably wasn't too happy about you cheating on him with your boyfriend DUH!
UNLESS, you have no idea what your man is...is he a husband or a boyfriend? Were you too DRUNK at the altar to even know the difference?!!!!!

you aren't sure whether he was a husband or a boyfriend? either way if he broke up with you it means he's done and there is nothing you can do to change that so yes you should move on, you don't really have any choice

well if you do not know which he is thats a bigger problem I would say. If he broke up with you then I would guess he was your boyfriend...no one would know if you should move on or not without knowing what happened. If he is your husband than do everything you can to make it work....put God in the center and watch Him work in your marriage.

You really don't have a choice, all you can do is move on. After time goes by, when he realizes how much that he misses you the question is, as time progresses and if he starts to like you once again, are you going to take him back?

Call u-haul and move on down the road! Do you have any idea how many other men are out there? Don't waste a second on one that wants to leave. You're better than that.

Regardless of your level of commitment, if you didn't say marriage vows, he wasn't your husband. But that aside, of course you should move on.......what else are you going to do? Sit around and dwell on it....wait for the phone to ring.....and feel sorry for yourself? Life's too short......

is it your boyfriend or husband ? You can't just break up when you're married. You don't sound smart enough to be married, so if you aren't, I wouldn't recommend actually doing it until you get smarter.
