Why do you Bible thumpers feel the need to invade my space? I don't invade yours.?

Bible thumpers are always raising .... that the homosexuals are being TOO LOUD and they are SICK OF HEARING IT....

Then why do I see one of you preaching scripture in every question in the Lesbian, gay... section...

Appears to me that once again you have no clue how to look at the thorn in your own eye but rather want to constantly dicate to others.

IF WE WANTING YOUR FREAKING ADVICE, WE WOULD GO TO THE RELIGIOUS SECTION.

And btw, I am a proud christian AND A LESBIAN!!! YEAH Stick that in your pipe and smoke. I have my belief that GOD accepts and loves me and you can kiss my backside.

Allowing gay ppl to marry is not invading anybody's space... that is about equal rights. Now, if you will politely concede to not have any state recognize any marriage at all thereby not stopping straight couples from receiving special rights, you won't have to hear that argument.

S L U T and I say "Yeah, so what, jealous?", she's no one to talk. I'm curious how her having "homosexual" relations is defying the lord, and taking her clothes off at bachelor parties isn't?? I really hate when people like BIWASHINGTON19 say crap like "Being gay IS NOT NORMAL!!! And if we want to be gay that is fine, blah, blah, blah...". According to what she says, she's NOT GAY, so what's with the "IF WE WANT TO BE GAY, THAT IS FINE" stuff?? I don't like when some bisexuals try to be ambassador of everything gay related because that they *think* they know what it's like to be gay because they screw people of the same sex. Most have no idea because they sit on their fence and hide behind their perceived hetrosexuality, and flaunt their bisexualness for attention.

Anyway, sorry, alotta straight people (especially the religious bigots) like to whine about how gay people shove it down their throats and force it in their face. They don't like how we "advertise" our sexual preference by not being ashamed of who we are, and how they say crap about they don't have straight pride parades. I don't think that my going to the park and holding my girlfriend's hand on a park bench while our daughter plays on the slide is shoving anything in anyone's face any more then it is when you see straight couples doing it.

When society is wrong, people need to make themselves seen, heard and take the initiative to change the laws so they can have the same rights the rest of soceity enjoys. Society has wronged many a minorty in the past, and things don't change until people take a stand make them. The marriage laws regarding interracial marriage changed because people stood up for their rights and made them change, just like people are trying to change the laws regarding gay marriage.

I actually think that it is fantastic that you are a lesbian and that because of ignorant minded twits you havn't turned your back on God. That is excellent! I wish more people were strong enough to think like you do.. way to go! Centuries of lies and misconceptions often keep loving, wonderful homosexual people from loving God when it isin't God who has the problem so much as it is the people who follow Him. Spread the word and be a beacon of light to all of those others who have been beaten down and lied to by the creap christians who tell people that the sins that they have are any better than the sins of anyone else. What do you mean you don't invade their space? We do to-- Gay Pride Parades, trying to change marriage laws, forcing our lifestyle choice down the neck. Displaying our "colors" and our rainbow.

Gays and bis are loud and if you are not willing to deal with the repercussions of your action then shut the heck up!

We flaunt our sexually in public, we make a big deal every time we feel we have been "wronged" we want to the world to cater to us and we want to change laws so we can seem "normal"

FACE THE FACTS missy-- Being gay IS NOT NORMAL!!! And if we want to be gay that is fine, you want to sport your colors fine, you want to march in parades, fine. but if you are going to advertise you had better be dam sure you are willing to take the reactions of your actions.

And if you would take the time to go to the "religious" section you would see all the gays in there spouting off about Christians beliefs and how "stupid" they are for believing in God, etc etc.

So, my advices to you is to go eat some kitty kitty and call it a day and cool off.

Also, there is now way for you to be a TRUE CHRISTIAN and be gay. Read your Bible. I was a faithful Christian before I let Satan lead me astray in to the lifestyle that I am leading now. I still keep in touch with my church and my pastor, I still pray, but I can not call myself a Christian and Blatantly defy the Lord at the same time. And by having homosexual relations that is defying the lord and God, so I can not call myself a Christian and neither can you. Or you would have to call yourself a Hypocrite.

Bible thumpers are just too busy being hypocrites. Too busy figuring out who to hate and who to condemn when they should really accept people for who they are and show the love of Christ. The fact that there's nothing wrong with being homosexual or transgendered just makes them uncomfortable. It doesn't fit into their small view of what God is so they declare how much they believe God hates us. The truth really is that God loves all of us (that is if you believe there is a God).

If they can be free to preach and speak freely about their beliefs and marry who they want to, why can't we.

Once I convinced one of those thumpers that I didn't know the first thing about the Bible, and I asked questions like, "So what's Paul's last name?" and "So I have to check out 'the Book of Romans' and the Bible?" It was really fun. I think there was smoke coming out of his ears.

But seriously, most Americans *do* know something about the Bible, at least from English and history classes. And the "clobber" passages aren't new to us. I wish they would quit.

Also, I am bi and have been out and activist my entire adult life. We are not all self-loathers who take advantage of the community. Some of us try to give back and help out.

Well done you, problem is though. We are all targets for how we live our lives. The republicans attack the liberals and vice versa. The believers attack the athiest though the aethiests don't seem to return the insult. All things being equal, you have the right to report this abuse. I have done on occasion, if it is hateful and insights hatred then it can be dealt with in the same was a sexist, racist or xenophobic comments

I mostly agree with you. I'm not gay or Christian. I think that if we can be a bit more polite, we can then really maybe convince more people to listen to our opinions and maybe consider them.

I agree with you. Those bible thumpers don't need to be here and they only preach because they think that we will pay attention. I think they need to get a life and stop forcing their opinions on us.
