I'm exaggerating a little. I know we're not in a world war, yet. But, i need someone to give me a synopsis of what's going on. Thanks!

No, you jumped the gun a litttle, but there is some truth in it. The stage that we are currently in is a diplomatic one invovling exchanges between 2 worlds that will be later used to justify the coming of the next Crusade. Christianity and Muslim will meet together in a global war again and the consequences will be horrific. All the world is a stage and the nations at the center of the conflicts today are doing thier best to mask the real purpose behind their hatred for each other. The answer, my friend, is grounded in the fundamental differences between these 2 religions.
Some believe that the Arc of the Covenant is buried in the Holy Land, and Muslims refuse to allow any digging there. All that is necessary to spark global warfare is to foster this idea into mainstream media. As a Catholic myself, if there is any real evidence found that leads to probable cause of any Christian relic existing in the Holy Land, I'm ready for war to retrieve it.

Is ready and is on the way....The dialogue tables are screwed up in more than 100 countries in the world and the accumulation of little disturbs in the new P - Zone ( for the ones that do not know what is it - make a line from south africa directly up the globe ) and you can count extremist taking government in that line , bombs treats, scandals , let me give you some countries in the line:

Sudan
Egypt
Etiopia
Israel

Then trace the rest of the line and add the problem between Pakinstan and India in the border of china and how the top border is plenty of extremist and is flooding Mongolia.

Things are happenning, be in USA and not seeing what is happening in the rest of countries is just a way to avoid reality.

From an economic perspective, commerce has gone global. Since the terrorists chose targets with economic and/or political ramifications, it begs the conclusion that all war can be considered a "world war."

It used to be that war was about property. Somebody has land you want so you go kill them and take their land. Now, only religion and politics dictate war. If the Israelis handed over Israel to the Palestinians, they would still be killing each other for religious and/or political reasons.

To answer your question, I think "yes." I believe war is fought on a global level, and all countries are effected in some way to skirmishes fought no matter where it is and what it is about.

Attacks in New York, Spain and now India by a religious group?
Sounds like a world war to me.

in a sense since so much of the world is at war. but thankfully it isn't one side fighting everyone else. if NK tries anything stupid, a short WWIII could occur until they are wiped out by everyone.

No, WWIII will involve lots of nuclear weapons exchange, and the middle will be the nuclear winter when the people left will be wondering what the hell happened, scared because of their mutant kids, and fighting cancer.
