Christian Bale

Both of them are fabulous actors. I recently saw some of Christian Bale's movies from when he was younger and it's amazing that he was such a great actor. I've loved many of his movies. And he was great in Batman Begins.

Ed Norton is fantastic as well. He's great in just about any movie he's in. Love his performance in Primal Fear.

In addition, I think Topher Grace deserves to be watched. And I agree with Sam Rockwell as well. He's funny and plays a pretty good villain, too. I also think Zach Braff was fantastic in Garden State and is amazing on Scrubs.

Ed Norton is BRILLIANT. I don't think he's underrated - most people in and out of Hollywood think he's terrific. He just hasn't won an Oscar (yet!).

Christian Bale needs to be in a few more movies before I can render a qualified opinion. I liked him in the Batman flick.

Edward Norton is a really good one. While he can be seen as underrated, he does get good praise from critics and is seen as one of the best actors of his generation by many. Plus he has been nominated for several awards including Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Golden Satellites. I would say that while he still qualifies as underrated Edward gets the kind of press and reviews and is well known for his famous roles that he kind of is at the tale end of the underrated list. (I am definatly looking forward to The Illusionist finally coming out in August! Looks awesome! http://www.theillusionist.com )

I would have to say a good one is Vince Vaughn. Many people may disagree since he is a hot actor at the moment, but anyone who has seen his early movies would agree that he has a good dramatic side. His role in the movie Return to Paradise is his best dramatic work to date and a movie that really struck a chord in me. I highly recommend everyone to see this if they can find it at their local video stores. His role in Made with Jon Favreau is underrated as his character almost dares you not to hate him. He is very believable and almost scarily convincing in his role as a top-performing telemarketer in The Prime Gig. Not to mention he is very twisted and a little unnerving as a psychotic loner in the thriller Clay Pigeons. All of these works came before his big push to fame after Old School. While his work in Swingers was also memorable, the films that came after that were some of his best works ever. Most of them were dramatic parts and showed he is very versatile and could be an actor to look out for if he gets a prime non-comedic role in the future.

Like your choices, but my favorite actor is a quiet old man named Harry Dean Stanton, who can be seen these days on "Big Love." His sensitive, drooping carriage breaks my heart 1,000 times.
