I actually own The Power of Now CD's by Eckhart Tolle, but haven't listened to all of them yet. So far, I've found his message to be amazingly simple, yet very profound. I have owned a book or two by Wayne Dyer, but never really got into them much (not sure why). I recently purchased a couple of books ("No Death, No Fear", and "Being Peace", by Thich Nhat Hanh. I haven't read them yet, but have read his book, "The Miracle of Mindfullness", which was wonderful! If you're not familiar with any of his writing, you might want to check him out. :)

I love eckhart tolle and have both of his books and a few of his talks on cd. His words seem to be reminding me of something I knew before but may have forgotten. His "message" is very simple and so practical. It helps me tremendously in life. I have some wayne dyer books and to me what he says is sometimes helpful but it doesn't seem to have the same level of insight or clarity or depth of tolle. His message almost seems to be of a pop spiritual psychology jargon....and he strikes me as having somewhat of a big ego. I think dyer is sincere but something strikes me as fake about him. Good question!

I've not read the first, but I like Wayne Dyer. I've seen him speak, I think he's doing a good thing in the world. His publishing co. is Hay House (http://www.hayhouse.com) if you are interested in similar literature.
