theyre harmful changes that spyware has made to the way your pc behaves (such as key loggers that track your presses on the keys or browser hijackers) remove them or repair them if the program allows. if the computer misbehaves aftyer removing them spybot has a restore tool to allow you to reverse any changes made but you shouldn't have problems, in fact your pc will be safer against hackers and data theives and faster too. remember to use the imunise tool to prevent this happening agian. i use it with no probs at all and the resident tea timer which protects settings aginst being changed by hackers... a**holes!
p.s. only use spybot to edit the registry as it knows what its doing, dont use the regedit thing as this can cause you no end of trouble and mash the pc for good unless your a pc geek and really know your stuff!

The registry is heart of windows. It is like the top level computer code and all the settings. You can view your registry by going to start > run ... then type regedit.... that is your registry, but don't change anything in there because you could mess up windows pretty bad

The Registry stores information about your computer and the applications stored on it. If you don't know what you're doing, do NOT mess with the Registry!

spybot makes a restore point in xp in case it farks ur pc by changin the registry, but its never done mione any harm - let it do its thing.
