No, it's because he's a comedian and he's very funny/talented.
People need to relax about that. The world would be SO much better if people could just chill out and not be so serious.

Dave is not a racist and neither are you. He pokes fun at all types and tries to show how stupidly funny humans are. He gave up a lucrative contract to pursue life without the sham and as a result he may be wealthy but showed a lot of class. Dave Chappelle needs more fans!

He is just a good comedian and jokes are jokes its just words it don't mean your anything and it doesn't make him any thing except filthy rich

This is the reason he canceled his show. The jokes are suppose to make you laugh but they are also suppose to make you uncomfortable and think. If they are not doing this he is just perpetuating the stereotype. He didn't want to do this so he pulled his show from the air. No it doesn't make you racist but maybe you should think about why it makes you laugh

He has keen insight into Black-White race relations, much like Richard Pryor.
Personally, "I Know Black People" was hysterical beyond belief, but the barber should have won.
