Who are these people? What happened to Brad?

Very easy logical progression:

Available to Ann are: Winter & Fall
Available to Brad is: Fall
Available to Carlos: Summer, Fall, Winter

They are all different, so remove "Fall" from both Ann and Carlos, which leaves:

Ann: Winter
Brad: Fall
Carlos: Summer & Winter

Again, because all are different, remove "Winter" from Carlos, as that is Ann's only choice at this point. Since nobody has chosen "Spring," it is the only available answer for Dana. (or is it Dane?)

Final answer:

Ann: Winter
Brad: Fall
Carlos: Summer
Dana: Spring

Good luck!

Ann doesn't like those beginning with 's'. Brad's is shortest so he already has 'Fall'. That leaves Ann with Winter.Carlos cannot like Spring so he has Summer. So that leaves Dana with Spring
.So:-

Spring : Dana
Summer : Carlos
Fall : Brad
Winter : Ann

Brad = Shortest Word, therefore Fall (four letters)

Ann = None 'S', therefore Spring/Summer are out; Brad is Fall, so Ann is Winter

Carlos = Doesn't rhyme with 'ring', so Spring is out; So he is Summer

Dane = Only one left, Spring
