We are planning a trip to Buffalo, NY to see the Niagara Falls, and visit Ontario, Canada. Is possible to see any snow in this area on the thanksgiving weekend.

I live in Buffalo. Yes, it is common to see snow in November, but it's just as likely you'll see dry roads and bare trees. Yes, you might see snow. No, don't get your hopes up too high because I'd hate to see you disappointed.

Some pictures of Buffalo Snow on my web site: http://www.hellotim.net/pictures/snow/snow.html

Enjoy your trip.

American thanksgiving I assume?
Seeing as last winter we had hardly any snow all season, don't count on it. But I know Buffalo will recieve much more than where I live and in Niagara Falls.

I live in Erie, PA, about 93 miles from Buffalo. From expierience living next to Lake Erie, I'd say you have a decent shot at seeing snow. We joke that kid's Halloween costumes should be able to fit over a snow suit. We didn't have snow for Thanksgiving last year but we have for many other years.

I'm from the area and most of the time there is at least a dusting of snow or more that time of year. The first snow is usually around Halloween. Have a great time!

i live in that area, and i would say that its very likely that it could snow. It usually first snows around the beginning of November.

Yes, I lived up north and we'd get snow in early- mid nov. but we have had a couple years when we didn't see the snow until mid/late dec.
