My favorite book ever was East of Eden. It's by John Steinbeck, and it's completely brilliant. The characters are developed so well that it's really, really easy to get into the book. All you have to do is get past like the first three pages - it's an insanely boring segment that basically just describes Salinas Valley. Once you're through, it's golden! Seriously the best book ever, I loved it. Don't be intimidated by its length! It's not a hard read, I'm only 17 (and I think I read it when I was 15 or 16 anyway).

Luna. Its the most amazing book. Its about this sister and bother and how the brother was born in the wrong body and its from his sisters point of view and its all about (Liam the brother) and how he stuggles to get hsi parents to realize that he is not a boy but a girl. And its so raw and so moving. And Luna(thats what Liam renames himself because he can only come out at night) has to stand up to eveyrone around her. Its the most moving book I hav ever read.

I don't know if it's my favorite by I really really enjoyed A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. Even though there has been a lot of controversy regarding this book I would totally recommend it.

Rose Madder by Stephen King is another book I really enjoyed and couldn't put down.
