No, we aren't equal, that's inherent in the fact that we are different sexes, but men as well as women deserve equality. Equality means that women and men have the same opportunities available to them, such as being able to vote, open a bank account, interview for a job or even drive a car. That doesn't mean a gentleman can't open a door for a lady.

Men are generally stronger physically, like they can lift heavy things (if that's what you mean by a harder job) but women probably have a higher threshold for pain. Cramps? Childbirth? Women can handle it and put up with a lot of crap physically, so in some sense women are stronger than men when it comes to handling pain.

If you mean a hard job intellectually, like being a criminal defense attorney, an astronaut or the CEO of a multinational company, I think women are just as able to do it as men are.

Yes, and no. Men are generally known to be physically stronger in their upper-bodies than women, and women are generally stronger in their legs. So, while they appear to be able to handle "harder jobs," I think that women have just as hard jobs when those jobs require using our legs. I work at a hotel for 8 hours a day, standing the whole time, no meal breaks or anything. And what about waitresses? They're running around with armloads of heavy dinner plates for 8 hours, with only a few short breaks. I think we are equal. But, if you're a woman who wants to hold her own and not have to ask a man for help opening a jar or carrying something heavy, a little weight training and determination is all you need to be equal in your own mind. Hard work and the drive to become something is all it takes to become a master, or mistress, of anything!!! Take it from me, I weigh about 130 and I can pick up a 115 lb. brother and move him from someplace he's been asked to leave. He sometimes has trouble listening, so I physically remove him, no problemo. How'd I get that strong? Hard work and standing firm on not letting a man help me when it came to carrying big or heavy things!

You cannot compare men and women just like you cannot compare apples with oranges or gallons with inches. These are two entirely different things.

Strictly speaking, yes nature has made men more physically stronger than women but there are plenty of other things in which women obviously have an advantage over men. For examples, guys are ugly and women are much better looking ;)

There should be no notion of equality between the opposite sexes and no one should take an offense. They just can't be compared. If women aren't equal to men then remember, men aren't equal to women either.

Women are becoming as strong as men,in many ways. Female Bodybuilders have more muscular strength than some men. Women have more emotional strength and will stand up and handle almost anything thrown their way. They have determination and will power. Women are doing many jobs that only men use to do. Still men are stronger. The bible says women are the weaker vessel.

Physically yes. Men's bodies are built to have more muscle. Men are also less sensitive to pain, however women can endure more pain.
Equality is a moral idea not an assertion of fact. Literally men and women are unequal but morally speaking women and men are equal and our interests should be given equal consideration.

Men tend to be stronger in the upper body than women; women have more stamina. Men tend to be better at math; women are more verbal. Men are more aggressive; women are more empathetic. It isn't so much a question of equality, as one of balance. The sexes may not be equal in any particular respect, but everyone deserves a certain basic level of dignity and consideration.

A man's build usually makes them stronger than women yes, but things change. A women works and his strength advances. I've been beaten by men and I've beat men. We are equal because we choose how strong we are.

We are equal in the sense that we are human. Men are physically strong and built to be, even the puny ones. Hormones play a lot in what the body can do. We equally have responsibilities on earth. The man is the head and responsible for spiritual leadership and protection. The woman is responsible for making it possible with her support and encouragement. He is responsible for getting our earthly needs according to God's will. We are responsible for making sure he is in comfort and ready to go forth for us.

Men are an average of 30% stronger than women physically (there are other differences too).

However, women have more endurence, a keener sense of smell, and better verbal skills.

Lots of differences--but it all adds up pretty equal.
