Okay my homegirls period didn't come last month!!! She taught she was pregnant and she told us to give her advice of what to do cuz she didn't want it! we understood her cuz she had her reasons!!! And one of my friends told her to hit herself hard but not too hard to the point that it will hurt her bad, run a mile, and do sit ups n she guarantees that her period wil come the next day!!! But the best way is to tell her mom!! But I guess she listened to the exercising part and now shes in her period!! Was she really pregnant!!!

Did she take a test to confirm pregnancy?
For the future don't try any "at-home-abortion" techniques.
For one, the stress of thinking you are pregnant ( or any stress) can delay and/or prevent your periods.
Exercise is good for your body and that includes your reproductive system. There are plenty of hormones that are released when exercises and that may have "triggered' her period.
Also, please remember: Females get "pregnant" more times than they know. The fertilized egg doesn't always attached to your uterine walls and therefore your egg dies and you get your period as if nothing ever happened.
Please be careful.

What your friend told her about punching herself in the stomach and doing all those exercises *may* work... My mom was pregnant before she had me and she was really into rough sports, so she lost the baby.. BUT...
When she was pregnant with *me*, she still had her period for the next 3 or 4 months.. So.. My suggestion is for her to go to a gynocologist and ask them what to do.. Maybe they can give her a formal pregnancy test that will give her accurate results.
Good luck!

first off hitting yourself... umm dumb advice. Hitting yourself when you are only weeks if that pregnant is not going to cause you to get your period. She wasn't pregnant obviously. My advice to her... don't have sex if your not ready to have a baby.. I have a 5 week old ande believe me they are tough work. If you are going to have sex for gods sake use double protection. (The pill or some other contraceptive and condoms) And secondly they do offer a morning after pill now. Check out your local planned parenthood or birthright center for information. (They wont tell your parents)

Well, if she is pregnant, abortion is not the answere. If she is hitting herself, there is a person inside of her, and she is child abusing it. Talk to a doctor. Don't let her phisically harm herself. It isn't right. Plus, she may have a health issue like anorexia or something like that to cause loss of periods. And, talk to her calmly about it. Don't kill yourself over it. TALK TO A DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm.. I think the best way to know for sure would be to buy one of those self-pregnancy tests and get her to try it to make sure.
She could also talk to her doctor or a gynaecologist, but I think she should definitely talk to her mother. Hopefully her mother will understand and try and help her out rather than being mad.

No,and I am glad she wasn't.Tell her to stop having sex if,she doesn't want to get pregnant or get on the pill!!
A baby is a precious gift from god and, not something you just kill over stupidity.
Tell her to go to planned parent hood....they give out free condoms!
How old is she anyway?

Don't know. You should encourage you friend to look into some safe sex practices. Call your local health department; it is usually confidential.

Unknown - she must take a pregnancy test to know...
abortion is not an easy thing, there are complications that can be life-threatening.....if you don't want adult responsibilities, don't have sex!
