Competitive cheerleading is a sport, but it's recreational when there is no score system involved...i.e. cheering at your high school prep rally. It does involve a great deal of skill and practice. But a sport in the true sense involves a scoring system.

i think it is...seeing that im a cheerleader...because we do gymanstics...stunts...and jumps that can hard us to where we cant do things like that anymore..i believe its a sport

Yeah. Well at least at my School it is. They run laps just like our basketball and football teams do and they are always practicing flips.
