I was in high school when I 'figured it out' and kept it a big secret because it wasn't acceptable back then. Amazes me nowadays when I hear stories about '... oh yeah there are a few same-sex couples in my school...' I'm so damn envious. LOL

I must go and tell all the cool people I know to get on the coolest craze ever!!
I think if we were gay, we were always gay. Maybe had a harder time coming out and accepting it but... still gay as... well you know.
If you mean did we come out before it was as acceptable as it is now (snort! like that's EVER easy) then, no. I just came out about a year ago... but that wasn't even by choice, I just got outed.
Okay, now I must go spread the good news.

When and where did gay become cool. In chicago, in high school and college it's a mini crime. I wouldn't think that i was gay due to it being cool. It''s who I am, not the cool factor i chose.

I was gay before it was cool but I was not opened. I am now out and proud. I told the hardest person so I good!

I know woman being bi-curious was a fad or "cool" once, but that was really just two girls kissing to turn on some freaky guy. Not the real thing. In real life bi-curious is just that, curious. And true bisexuals got another myth to deal with sadly.
Plus that was years and years ago. You're showing your age dude.

About 20 yrs now so, I guess so. Although no one ever told me it was cool, personally I find all of the inequity and social ostracizing pretty uncool.
