Death in a dream often means rebirth. Like a leaf that falls from a tree in order to produce fresh shoots.
I wouldnt let it freak you out.

Before we analyze, you must know why would a 6 years son dream that. It could probably be from TV, any media.
I don't believe that will tell you that he can forsee the future.
If you and his son have better relationship, he probably won't dream of you dying. It could only mean that he needs you much and subconsciously he didn't want to leave you with you grow old. However, if you two had some sort argurment, that may contribute some anger in his mind.

I hope I don't run you over. I don't want to go to jail. I like my freedom. I also think this dream hurts and worries you too much.
You are probable afraid to die. Jesus can help you. But its up to you. Reassure your child that dreams are normal. Most dreams are a way to process what didn't get processed during the day.
I hope the best for you.

My 6 year old tells me things like that all the time. In fact today he told a friend of mine when I was 35 I was going to have a baby and the baby would be Satan. OK 1. I had a hysterectomy. 2. I am going to be 35 in October. He says things just to see how far he can push my buttons.

When he said this, did he say the only way to stop this was to buy him a playstation 3 ?
If he didn't say that, then you will probably be run over at 36 and die.

How old are you? Are you close to 36? Has he heard of another person dying at that age? It may be that he just loves you and is afraid of losing you. He may just be trying to learn to deal with an understanding of life and death. My daughter is six. The age he has come up with has to have come from somewhere.

I don't know - but I know that it doesn't mean you're going to get run over and die when you're 36.
The worst thing your little boy can imagine is losing you - so it's simply a nightmare.

He's probably just getting to the age that he understands what death is, and he has some anxiety about it, which translates into his dreams. If you don't make a big deal of it, he'll probably forget about it. And no, I don't think he's foretelling the future!
