Sorry... but short of hacking their account, there's probably no way of knowing whether or your friend is reading the e-mails you're sending him (depending on the e-mail service). You could be sending it to the wrong e-mail address if you aren't getting any notifications that the e-mails are bouncing back (which means somebody else is getting those e-mails :-/ ). Just keep trying and hopefully you'll hear from him soon. Good luck!

For the most part, there really is no way to know. Only if your email program or service provides a "request receipt" feature would this be an option. When you use the request receipt feature, the recipient of an email is given the option to indicate whether or not he/she has received the email. Of course, since this is optional, the reader may choose not to respond to the receipt.

Since each email program/service is different, it is difficult to say if your service has this feature. Contacting your internet service may be able to provide you information about this as well.

Unless you have the receipt feature enabled and the reader responds to it, unfortunately there is no way of knowing.

Hope this helps! =)

you could try requesting a 'delivery receipt' when you send an email. That way, when it is opened you will be notified. The downfall is that read and delivery receipts only work with certain email clients.

There is this thing on yahoo, I think it's called yahoo messenger, and when you email them and they have read your email, then you will know by the yahoo messenger that your message has been read or received..or something like that

You will know if he didn't get it by an email saying it couldn't be delivered, from Yahoo! or whatever your email is.

Good Luck!
