Yes, I've seen one, well....I couldn't identify it anyway.
Read the Bible where people descibe "chariots of fire" in the sky.
The chariot was the only known "vehicle" in those times.
Also, they didn't have electricity so they used the word fire.
Could "chariot of fire" really be a flying disc with electric lights?
I think it may be a possibility.
To U R A:
lol, I'm not a catholic. You sir need to not generalize.

Do I believe in ufos? Certainly. Why would I not? I mean as was posted before, the universe is humongous. And as also reported before the Bible has reports of chariots of fire. And no they were not "friggin idiots", they knew the difference between a ufo and a comet. The only feasible answer I can come up with is something I read in a sci-fi book a while back. The little grey guys developed a gigantic rocket to house their people in and it had all the renewable resources needed for a small population to reach us. But when they arrived here on the edge of our galaxy they found it to be inhabited already. Now what they are doing is abducting us and slowly changing our DNA so they can take over. Just look at all of the degenerative disorders that don't match with our DNA code. This is what I think about the ufos, they are a little ticked off at having traveled for a couple hundred thousand years and now they are playing with us.

I've had one experience so I do believe something is out there (don't believe in alien abductions or strange looking creatures though). Basically I was lying on the bed with the curtains open at my mums. Her house overlooks some countryside. It was a clear night and I was just looking at the sky (I love doing that) and I saw what I thought was a bright star but the longer I looked at it it started quivering gently and I kept rubbing my eyes thinking I was imagining things. Then all of a sudden it moved slowly to the right (still quivering) then it moved downwards slowly, then up, then right again and behind some trees (this sounds rude but not intentional!). It was a very strange experience which lasted 20 minutes so I ran down the stairs shouting about what I had seen and my mum said that she had seen the same thing the night before. Weird! All these people who think we are the only life form in the universe is just plain ignorant. Why are we so special?

Do I believe in UFOs? Absotlutely. A UFO is aan unidentified flying object - that doesnt mean that it is pilotted by a little green man....just means it is something flying that I cannot ID.
Do I believe in the possibility of extraterrestrial life? Absolutely - its been found on rocks from Mars in the form of microbes. Life is life, no one said it had to be intelligent... And in a universe as enourmous as this, would it not be earth-centric to think that we are the only planet capable of sustaining life???
Do I beleive in little green men from Mars visiting us from distant galaxies? Absolutely not. Sure, there is probably life on other planets. And, maybe even life more intelligent than ours. But I doubt that they would travel billions of miles over immense amounts of time, only to remain invisible, kidnap us from our homes late at night just to shove things in our butts. Anything that highly evolved (to have been able to develop either time travel or the ability to travel at the speed of light - one of the two would be necessary to travel the distances required. Or, suspended animation could work too...) would not come here and hide away from us, allowing us to destroy ourselves. They would surely let themselves be known, would they not??

If I saw one, I think I would be sooooo scared!
Anyway, the chance of life on other planets is slim,
the chance of life on other planets being at the same stage as ours i.e. not just a smear of bacteria or fossils, are VERY slim, and the chances of intelligent life making it across the millions of miles to visit us VERY VERY slim.
We would probably not even get on with them anyway. We can't even get on with people in other cultures on our own planet.
However the idea of time travel seems more feasible - imagine if UFOs were our descendants trying to escape from a ruined planet Earth!

Statistacally I find it impossible to believe that in infinite space and time that we are the only lifeforms to ever become intelligent enough to send stuff into space. Therefore I believe that somewhere there are UFO's but they'll never come near us.

Of course. UFO means unidentified flying object. I had one in my eye last night. It was probably a mosquito but I was not able to identify it (I could not see) so therefore it is a UFO !

I believe. The definition of UFO is Unidentified Flying Objects. I am sure there are lots of flying objects that have not been identified.

Never seen one or anything, but I believe in them because I just can't believe that we're the only living beings in such a vast univerese. I mean, scientists keep shoving all this information about the Universe being endless down our throats, and yet, some of them still believe that we are the only life froms . . . what the hell?
