It shouldn't but knowing what Italy is like (where corruption is the norm, the Ballesconi mobs), they'll let the boys go Scot free, given them a pat on the back and say to them to be a good Italian boy and stay out of trouble in future.
Maybe that is why them boys did good in WC to come home as national heros to get lenient sentences and they will.

Absolutely not. What the high officials of those clubs did infringed the law and they have to pay for it. Not only the single individuals, but also the clubs to prevent current or future officials to do the same. It's sad because it's not the players' or the fans' fault, but still, it's fair. What happened with the clubs is a totally separate issue and must be treated as such.
Probably some of the World Cup players who play for those 4 clubs will be borrowed by other clubs, either in Italy or abroad.

What does Serie A have anything to do with the World Cup?? And I say this to everyone who thinks the four clubs will be spared because of the Italian victory, and also everyone who thinks Italy should be stripped of their title. The two are separate issues, and let's all just accept the fact that Italy won and that Serie A end up arguably unwatchable next season and move on.

Good question, I'm sure there will be good arguments on both sides. But in my opinion, the clubs in question should not be treated any differently by the fact that the national team won the world cup. If anything, now would be a great time for Italian football to start from scratch and get rid of all the controversy and dodgy dealings.

No.
I am not anti Italian but to be honest I think they should maybe stripped of the World cup if found guilty.
Just remember how English club suffered after the Hysel stadium disaster. At the end of the day the 4 clubs have committed the ultimate sin and should be punished justly.

Interesting question with an array of different answers, but logic tells us that there should be NO change for the fate of the clubs involved, the reality is that maybe, just maybe they can work it in to their advantage.
My opinion though is that the clubs should be investigated thoroughly and the guilty punished it's as simple as that. The World Cup has nothing to do with it.

Nope, two separate things. The Italian clubs involved deserve to be punished for their actions. The real tragedy is that the players who won the World Cup will be affected by the ruling in that they will prolly have to uproot their families and find new clubs...Shame really.

I reckon they have gotten over it. i'm particular they do no longer seem to be as ignorant as all of us says. they have gotten a super variety of revenge final night by way of beating Italy 3-one million interior the Euro 2008 qualifier no longer that that win could account for plenty

no
but i dont think the players or even the coaches should get punished, relegating them down to serie b or serie c... i think we should just punish the leaders of the clubs who did the betting (if they did any)
