While the potential exists for your tears to "drain" some of the electrolytes from your body, it is small. The feeling of "fatigue" happens because of the fact that "a good cry" is a tension releaser. This cathartic act can potentially, temporarily remove all that tension from your body. If you tend to work off of nervous energy - off a lot of "tension" then this release will have that effect. Give yourself a quarter to half hour to "regroup," and you'll be back, "right as rain." If not, YOU, friend, are in serious need of REM... so it is better to let your mind "catch up." Usually after a "restorative sleep," you'll feel the best you have in a long time.
Oh, and if the crying jags are frequent and the duration inordinately lengthy, then you may have a problem with depression... then it's time to seek professional advice. Don't let depression rule your life... life is too short as it is. If you are experiencing life in alternating "highs" and "lows," then you may be "bi-polar..." Don't be dismissive of the potential havoc that this could reap in your life, either. Occasional crying is natural, but I sincerely hope that it is simply "episodic" for you, and not a "way of life."

When you cry, it is very draining emotionally. If you cry enough, it could also transfer so that you feel the draining effect physically as well.

crying is an emotionally discharged energy, and if you cry too much you do feel tired, it is normal
