Unprofessional.
The refs didn't do the best jobs they possibly could've, but look at the numbers of yellow and red cards. Records for both! Too many cheap shots. And players faked injuries all the time just to get the penalty.
And then you can cap it off with Zidane's headbutt. He let an opponent get inside his head for one moment, and that could've likely been the downfall of the French team in the final. Not to mention that it was downright embarassing for himself, his career, and his country. What class does that show?
I'm hoping for a "cleaner" World Cup in 2010. Watching it this year was sickening.
