Also how much should the camel rides cost and where do you go for them.

As much info as possible please!

As you know now that you are there is that it depends on what kind of excursions you want to go on, what part of the country you are in, what time of the year you are there, and probably most importantly who you book through.

If you are just using a local to show you some sites, you can get around for very inexpensive; if you go through a travel agent, it is going to be more money but you are more than likely going to get more of an adventure than you would with a impromtu tour.

Happy Touring.

I was in Morocco in Feb 06 and travelled from Marakesh to Agadier by bus. It was really cheap. I think the roundtrip was about 12USD.

I saw the camels on the beach. I didnt ride them, but u can ask at your hotel, budget or high end. Having said that, I think the best guide to be found is the Lonely Planet Morocco. Be cheap (hmm, make that economical) and get it from your public library. Just remember to return it. I took my library copy with me thru out Maroc. It is also a great ice breaker. Ppl will see u reading it and yall can compare notes. It was amazing to see my book in so many different languages!

Train rides are very cheap, I went from Marrakesh to Fes, first class, numbered seat with air conditioning. It was an 8 hour journey each way, & I think it only cost about £30. The train service is excellent & very reliable. It's probably only a couple of hours from Agadir to Marrakesh, you can go for a day. If you want to stay for longer and need a good central Marrakesh Riad, we stayed in a fabulous one, there is a lot to do there, amazing sights & sounds. The souks are great fun too.
